It's Spring Time ! It's hirshhorn After Hours TIME!

Friday, April 4th 8:00 pm - midnight - Washington, DC
@ the hirshhorn !
$10 in advance $12 @ the door (hirshhorn members get in free)
The party kicks off with music by DJ Solomon Sanchez followed by
special live performances by Lucky Dragons and Hooliganship.

Peter Burr
and Christopher Doulgeris, aka Hooliganship
, have been
called Portland’s “neon-clad archangels of hyper-digitized cell phone
music.” Prepare to embark on a dizzying 3D adventure, combining a
grunge rock inspired, live-action dance off with freak-out animations
for a sensory overload multimedia party.

Luke Fischbeck and Sarah Rara perform as Lucky Dragons.
Using homemade hardware and software, audience members
cooperate to build a fragile network of digital signals connected
by touching on the skin. Sound, video, dance and interactive
technology merge into a mysterious and unpredictable “happening,”
in which each individual’s slightest touch registers a shift in the
sound and image created.

“Lucky Dragons… is a truly great celebration of the human spirit,

giving real hope for the techno-future our society is racing toward.”
