I've never heard the Apes live. Actually, I'd never heard of the Apes until last week, and now I hear mention of them daily...
But, I'm really going to see Kid Congo again... He's one cool cat! Met him at the last Black Cat show, and he was full of stories.
Kid is best known for his guitar work with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Cramps, and The Gun Club, and he also played with the Legendary Stardust Cowboy, Diamanda Galas, Jonathan Fire Eater, Make-Up, Mark Eitzel, The Angels of Light, and many more. Is that enough? I'm there... How about *you* ?
